With this new year I hope to get back into the swing of things.
I wanted to share that we have put in for our sheep shearing dates, the dates haven't been confirmed yet but our plan is to shear the last weekend in February, over two days.
There will be 67 Sheep to be shorn. A friend is bringing 15 sheep to our place so they can be shorn, another friend has 17 sheep that reside here to be shorn and I have 35 to be shorn.
I have just finished trimming hooves on all the ewes, these were the last 18 that I trimmed today.
All went well.
We will have an Open House on our Shearing Days. Raw fleeces will be available to purchase.
